We are excited to announce Professor Kenny Mitchell joins us as Chief Technology Officer with appointment to the board as a non-executive Director. Kenny will be responsible for the company's new immersive software strategy specialising in 3D graphics, vision, visualization, real-time, video games, movie production, immersive technology, and deep learning. As part of our pivot & resilience plan the company will leverage its years of immersive hardware development creating new innovative software solutions for its products and the emerging immersive markets. Kenny brings a wealth of experience and industry knowledge to the business and is also well positioned to support the recruitment of talent from local academia institutes like Napier University where he continues to support video game technology studies.

BIO: Professor Kenny Mitchell is a Technical Director of Rendering at Roblox and chair of Video Game Technology at Edinburgh Napier University providing practical technology solutions for video games, Disney theme parks, movie production, and immersive media. Over the past 20 years he has shipped video game technology with ground breaking high-end graphics technologies including voxels, sky rendering (god rays/light scattering), anti-aliasing, motion blur, light field and deep learning methods. His Ph.D. founded real-time 3D graphics for information visualization for consumer hardware. Whilst leading technology into movie franchise video games like Harry Potter, the BAFTA award winning Boom Blox with Stephen Spielberg, Star Wars AR, and image quality for Finding Dory & Pirates of the Caribbean films, he currently has over 50 patent inventions. He is co-founder of 3FINERY Ltd a spinout of Edinburgh Napier University bringing real world objects to life. He has built and managed research groups, and projects with international consortia of up to 24 companies/universities.

A very warm welcome to Paul Wishart who joins the Cobra Simulation team today supporting finance and operations. Paul is an experienced financial analyst with an Honours Degree in Business. He is an avid gamer and technology enthusiast but also enjoys travelling, reading and keeping fit. Welcome Paul !!
